Isla (/ˈaɪlə/ EYE-lə) is a feminine given name traditionally of primarily Scottish usage, derived from “Islay”, the name of an island off the west coast of Scotland, known for intensely flavoured whisky.
Intensity is what I am about. A woman of many deep-felt passions dying to bring you along for the ride. I like my whisky bold, my vacations adventurous, and my evenings filled with music and laughter. A lover of the arts (with the degree to back it up) I find myself drawn to those who enjoy the finer things in life.
Much of my time these days is spent onstage and backstage, and you’ll find all manner of things theatrical in my day to day. My home is filled with little homages to film greats and my calendar filled with performances both my own and others. Being a foodie, I’m always delighted to show new friends my favourite beloved locales. Michelin starred or hole-in-the-wall gems, I love them all. If all the world is a stage, my plate is front and centre!

With my thirties has come a certain appreciation for being able to say I know who I am, and I know what I like.
